Felony Charges Dismissed Because of Illegal Search Warrant

Client charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, Theft, and Possession of Marijuana.  The police got a search warrant to search client's home.  The police came to client's home, searched the home and seized evidence as result of the search, including drugs.  After reviewing the affidavit for the Search Warrant signed by the police and the actual Search Warrant signed by a judge, Nancy Kennedy filed a motion to suppress all of the evidence seized as a result of the search conducted at the Client's home including the drugs found.  As a result of the research done by Ms. Kennedy and the filing of the motion to suppress all of the evidence, the District Attorney dismissed the charges due to the invalid affidavit prepared by the police.  Client will be eligible to have her record cleared.
